Location: Edmonton (Permanent, Full-Time)

Our client is looking for a Sr. Recruiter to join their team. This role will support high-volume corporate and operational recruitment throughout Canada and the United States. The position sits within the People & Culture team and works closely with operational leadership to ensure projects are properly staffed with skilled craft professionals, project leaders, and construction management talent.

This is not a purely administrative recruitment role. It’s a hands-on position where the successful recruiter will be responsible for managing multiple searches at once, building strong candidate pipelines, and partnering directly with operational leaders to support project delivery across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing full-cycle recruitment across a range of operational and project-based roles

  • Supporting high-volume hiring needs across active construction projects

  • Recruiting for positions including craft, project coordinators, project managers, construction managers, and operational support roles

  • Building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines across competitive labor markets

  • Partnering closely with operational leaders to understand workforce needs and project timelines

  • Utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies including direct outreach, networking, job boards, and referrals

  • Managing recruitment activity through the company’s ATS and ensuring a smooth candidate experience

Key Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within operational, construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments

  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple concurrent searches

  • Experience supporting high-volume or project-based hiring environments

  • Strong sourcing capability and proactive approach to talent identification

  • Ability to build credibility with hiring managers, field leaders, and candidates

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • This role may require occasional travel (approximately 10%)
